Creating events on Ticket Tailor is easy and flexible. Just follow the steps below:
1. Login to the Ticket Tailor control panel, click the Events tab, and click on the ‘Add a new event’ button.
2. Input all the relevant information such as the event name, and when and where it takes place. You can also add a description and upload an image for your event; these will appear on the event page.
3. You will then need to create ticket options for people to buy so click ‘Add a new ticket type’. Once clicked a separate box will appear where you will be able to input the details of the ticket. For more information on managing tickets, see Managing Tickets.
4. When finished, click ‘Save Event’. At this point your event will be saved as a draft, which means it will not be visible to the general public in your online box office.
Making your event live
When you first create an event, it will be saved in draft mode. This means it will not be visible to the general public in your online box office.
Before making your event live, click ‘Preview your event’ to preview it.
To make you event live, click the ‘Make your event live’.
You will then need to click a button to confirm and your event will be live. You are still able to make changes to your event once it is live.
