Array Ensemble: Future, Past, They Disappear [IN PERSON]

Curated by Bruce A. Russell, the Array Ensemble opens its 2025-26 season with rarely heard works for the Array Ensemble by Rebecca Bruton and Ann Southam, as well as Canadian premieres from Hannah Ishizaki and Angélica Negron. 

The title “Future, Past, They Disappear” is a line from the Earth, Wind & Fire song “That’s the Way of the World,” and is meant to suggest that the work of the late Ann Southam has a place among the recent works of the living composers featured–all of these pieces finding different ways to hold us in a moment.
