Foraging workshop
Join local foraging guide Josh Quick for a gentle wander around the orchard exploring the world of wild edible plants. You'll never look at a hedgerow in the same way again!
Perfect for beginners or those with some experience. Children are more than welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. The workshop is free to attend but numbers are limited so please reserve your space by booking a ticket.
You will learn about a range of plants and how to safely and sustainably harvest from the wild. Josh studied ethnobotany and has been foraging for over a decade. He runs 'Wild St Ives', a social enterprise taking people out to explore nature and learn about the uses of wild plants and is a member of the Association of foragers.
This workshop is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
