Winter is coming so now would be a good time to learn some basic knitting skills including how to cast on, how to knit and how to cast off. These three techniques will give you enough knowledge to start making a warm chunky scarf.

You will also learn about the different types of wool, different size needles and why you need different needles for different wools.

You will need to bring a pair of 6mm knitting needles and at least one ball of chunky wool. Please feel free to contact Jo McIntosh if you are not sure about the needles and/or wool.  Jo McIntosh: m0rn1ng@knitweave.co.uk

No experience is necessary as help will, be given at every stage.

Parking available at The Core building by prior arrangement only: for those with limited mobility

This workshop is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
