2026 Plymouth Breakwater Swim in aid of the Chestnut Appeal

The 2026 Plymouth Breakwater swim will take place on Sunday 21st June.  The swim is now Sold Out but please add your name to the waiting list.

June 21^st 2026 is Fathers Day and also its the Summer Solstice, so a magical swim could be on the cards, we look forward to seeing you in a couple of months time.

Thanks to the King’s Harbourmaster, who grant us safe use of the sound for this event, we can offer this unique opportunity to swim from the Plymouth Breakwater into iconic Tinside. 

You’ll register on Commercial Wharf and board one of ‘The Plymouth Sound’ or 'The Legend of Plymouth'.

The trip to the eastern end of the Breakwater takes around 20 minutes, so you’ve got plenty of time to listen to your safety briefing and get warmed up.

You’ll then alight the boat, and follow the swim route along the coastline at Jennycliff Bay, past Mount Batten pier and then over to Tinside Beach, a longer than before distance of 3.8-4km.

We ask that swimmers set themselves a minimum fundraising target of £75, as the cost of your entry ticket only helps us cover the costs of the safety crew, its the funds you raise that will make a difference.
