Giuseppe Macina Operatic Voices Competition

To honour the legacy of our founder and further our mission of championing the Canadian opera artists of tomorrow, Toronto City Opera is producing the first annual Giuseppe Macina Operatic Voices Competition. 

Tickets are only $20 general admission.$2.50 Booking fee. No HST

COMPETITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Monetary prizes totalling $5,000 to be distributed at the discretion of the adjudicators

• Future performance contracts with Toronto City Opera and select Southern Ontario orchestras

• Five distinguished adjudicators : Adrianne Pieczonka, Tom Diamond, Denis Mastromonaco, Jennifer Tung, Stephen Carr

This exciting new event will include an opportunity for the audience to vote for an Audience Choice Prize and is sure to become an annual highlight for the Toronto classical music community.
