You will need to close sales for an event when you want to stop selling tickets.
Closing sales
To close sales of an event, login to your account, go to the ‘Events’ tab and click on the event you wish to close sales for. From the ‘Event state:’ drop down on the right hand side select ‘Close Sales’.
Select a customer status and enter a notice message for your customers. This will be visible when they come to your event page. Click the ‘Change event state to Close sales’ button to confirm. Sales for the event will now be closed. Anyone who is mid-way through buying tickets will be given a short amount of time to complete their order.
Customers will no longer be able to purchase e-tickets from your online box office.
Event Check In
Before your event, you should export your doorlist (see Exporting your doorlist). This lists all e-ticket codes alongside customer names, postcodes, and tickets ordered.
On arrival, the customer should present their six digit e-ticket code on the door. This will allow you to compare and verify their name and postcode with your doorlist. We also recommend you ask for identification for added security.
If a customer has forgotten their code but has identification, you can also look up their name from your doorlist.
