We know we are different from other ticketing companies, particularly when it comes to our business model. Please see below for our most frequently asked questions:
How much does Ticket Tailor cost?
Ticket Tailor is a pay-monthly subscription service. For our current prices please see our pricing page here: http://www.tickettailor.com/pricing/. You can pay for our service in GBP, USD and EUR with your credit or debit card. We have more currencies available for selling tickets.
We don’t charge any per-ticket fees – meaning we will never take a percentage of your revenue generated from the amount of tickets you sell.
No subscription fees are charged for the service if your events are free to attend.
To accept payment from your customers, you will need a PayPal account which is free to set up (sign up here). Your customers, however, do not need a PayPal account to purchase tickets from your Ticket Tailor box office as PayPal offer the option for your customers to pay with their credit/debit card.
You really don’t charge any per-ticket fees / booking fees?
We have absolutely no per-ticket fees (also known as booking fees). This means we don’t take a slice when you sell a ticket like many other ticketing systems. PayPal fees will still apply for processing money. Please check the PayPal website for their latest fees.
Can I try Ticket Tailor for free?
Yes, sign up absolutely free via our sign up page: http://www.tickettailor.com/sign-up/. It takes two minutes to sign up and no credit card is required.
How long does the free trial last?
The free trial lasts until you sell your first ticket. At this point we will send you an email asking you to upgrade your account. Your customers will still be able to buy tickets when this happens. If you would like to start your subscription early, please get in touch and we will email you the subscription link.
Are there any ongoing commitments or contracts with your subscriptions?
No. You can upgrade and downgrade any time. This means that when you do not have an event live, you can switch down to the free package. If you choose to downgrade midway through your billing cycle we will credit you the difference as “store credit”.
Can I use your service alongside ticket agencies?
Yes you may.
What’s the difference between the various packages?
The packages have different features, but the main differentiator is the number of ticketed events you are allowed. This refers to the number of events you have on sale at any one time. So if you select the Promoter Plus package you will be able to have a maximum of 5 events on sale at any one time. Once an event has passed it is no longer counted as part of your allocation.
