Dax Levine - Professional Dungeon Master

Dax Levine - Founder of Dungeon Master Direct

Dax Levine - As a professional Dungeon Master, Dax founded Dungeon Master Direct and the Traveling Dragon. Dax has hosted games for clients from all over the world and manages a team of Pro DMs. He specializes in highly immersive games with emotional stakes, especially where the line between horror and comedy is at play. He was the head Dungeon Master for the Guinness World Record for the largest game of D&D (1227 players!). In the summer, he directs Teen Dungeon Camp with StoryCon and Operation Literacy. He has been featured at FanX, Dragonsteel Nexus, Life the Universe and Everything, and Dungeon Master University

Ticket Options

Please read through the following ticket options carefully so you can make sure you are selecting the option in checkout that will give you the best experience on the cruise!

Special accommodations can be made for VIP suites. 

Cruise Staterooms

There are three room types we have available for you to purchase, 

  • Balcony Cabin - $2200 - All-Inclusive per person
  • Oceanview Cabin - $1950 - All-Inclusive per person
  • Inside Cabin "Virtual Window" - $1850 - All-Inclusive per person

All cabins and suites come complete with a private bathroom, vanity area, hair-dryer, closed-circuit TV, radio and phone. Bedroom area with two twin beds that convert to Royal King, sitting area with sofa, and full bathroom. Cabin sizes range between 160 - 198 sq ft.

  • By default, lodging is double occupancy, the price is per person in the room and you must have a roommate.
  • Single occupancy rooms are available for an additional cost.
  • Triple occupancy rooms can be accommodated by special request.
  • The exact cabin location on the ship will not be determined until later and we cannot know ahead of time what deck level you will be placed on.

Note: If a family member or friend is attending then you should choose a DOUBLE OCCUPANCY ticket as you will be sharing a room with your family member or friend.

If you select DOUBLE OCCUPANCY and don't have a roommate, one may be assigned to you. If there isn't one available, you may be upcharged for a SINGLE OCCUPANCY cabin.

Land Excursions and Adventures (Optional Add-ons)

Every great adventurer must test their mettle by exploring distant lands. These land excursions will invite you to experience new cultures, try new foods, bathe in the sun, seek and adrenaline rush, and even touch grass!

Here is a sample of possible excursions. 

Coco Cay, Bahamas

Conquer the tallest waterslide in the Caribbean and snap a shot from up to 450 feet up in a helium balloon. Grab a drink at the swim-up bar and soak up the scene in the largest freshwater pool in The Bahamas. Or get a taste of Bora Bora with your own Overwater Cabana. Perfect Day CocoCay is split into 10 unique neighborhoods, each with its own activities. There are plenty of free things to do around the island, as well as premium experiences available for purchase.

Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico

Past meets present in Costa Maya. Cruise to Costa Maya and find ancient Maya ruins and mysterious jungles just begging to be explored, as well as white-sand beaches and authentic restaurants— all in one place. It’s 250 square miles of paradise packed with entertainment and history, all just 30 miles south of Cancun. The Great Maya Reef just off Mahahual’s coast is the second largest in the world. For a culture fix, head to the Kohunlick ruins to see the famous Temple of the Masks.

Cozumel, Mexico

Travel & Accommodations

Air Travel

We recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Only 11 minutes from the Royal Caribbean Docks. If you choose to drive or take another route in, please note that you may need to make separate arrangements for parking your vehicle. Shuttles are available from the airport to the dock. 

Accessibility

Royal Caribbean ships are designed to accommodate all of our guests, including people with mobility, hearing, and visual disabilities. When you fill out the registration form, please let the Traveling Dragon staff know about any accommodations you require as there is limited availability on board ship.

Policies

Attendance 

This retreat is an escape from daily life and an exploration into the realms of the unknown!

  • Traveling Dragon attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Children/teens from the ages of 16 to 21 may attend if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • All attendees, attendee guests, and accompanied minors must have a valid passport.

So long as you meet the above requirements, you’re good to go!

Harassment Policy

Traveling Dragon is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact any member of conference staff immediately.

Alcohol Policy

The minimum age to consume alcohol on Royal Caribbean International ships on sailings originating from North America or the Caribbean is twenty-one (21).

Please drink responsibly and be considerate and respectful of other guests.

Refund Policy

The following fees are NON-REFUNDABLE: a $100 deposit to reserve the cabin, the $5 booking fee, and the 3% credit card processing fee that is not reflected in the listed ticket price but will be added to your order prior to purchase.

The remainder of the balance is REFUNDABLE according to the following dates (Royal Caribbean policy).

  • 100% refund if canceled before June 15th, 2027
  • 50% refund if canceled before August 15th, 2027
  • 25% refund if canceled before  September 15th, 2027
  • NO REFUND after September 15th, 2027
  • TRAVEL INSURANCE is recommended in case you need to cancel your trip due to illness or other extenuating circumstances. See XCover at checkout.
