At Ticket Tailor we are committed to Growing better, not just bigger and in that spirit we have decided to donate 1 pence (1.32c) per ticket sold to charity. This year our clients have sold 6.6M tickets through our platform, and so our total donation pot comes to £66,000 ($87,000 USD with today’s exchange rate). This represents over 5% of our estimated profit for the year.

In addition to donating 1p for every ticket sold to a climate cause, we want to practice what we preach and to run our business in a sustainable way too.

Over the last few months we've been understanding Ticket Tailor's impact on the environment and working out how we can become a carbon neutral business.

In the post below we explain how we worked out the carbon we've emitted since launch and about how we are actually removing that carbon from the planet. We quickly figured out that it's not as simple as just planting a few trees!

Here at Ticket Tailor we love being part of a thriving events industry – our customers are a collection of entrepreneurs, businesses, charities, clubs, communities, schools and places of worship from across the globe, hosting a wide range of different events. We know that more ticket sales for our events means more of the world connecting with like-minded people, more funds raised for good causes and more revenue for small business owners; and now that we are committing to donate 1p for every ticket sold, it also means more money going towards some amazing climate causes.
