Google Admin Bootcamp (July 7-21, 2022) – Google Meet

The Google Admin Bootcamp is specifically designed for district IT directors and administrators who want a better understanding of the management tools and features of Google Workspace for Education and Chromebooks. Explore effective management practices, review the security of your data, and effectively manage Chromebooks in any setting. The Google Admin Bootcamp will help you take the next step in leading your school in its use of Google tools.

Registration Fee: $199 per person

Your registration includes 5 virtual sessions with John Sowash, access to a comprehensive resource website, and optional Q&A calls to discuss the specific needs of your school district. You may register by credit card (preferred) or school purchase order.

Please note that we can not guarantee your registration until a valid PO has been received from your school.

• Why you should be using Google Apps Manager (GAM) to manage your domain

• Tips for deploying Chromebooks in a K-12 environment

Session Schedule: 

Each session will take place from 12-1:30pm EST through Google Meet.

• July 7 - Google Workspace domain configuration
• July 12 - Google Workspace service configuration
  
• July 14 - Domain management and reporting  
  
• July 19 - Domain security & Google Vault
• July 21 - Chromebook deployment and management

Note: while you are encouraged to attend the LIVE sessions, you will receive a recording for each session which you can watch on-demand. 

Office Hours: In addition to the sessions above, you will also have an opportunity to schedule an optional 1:1 call with John Sowash to discuss unique questions related to your Google Workspace configuration.

What to expect:

• Each live session is hosted using Google Meet 
• During the live sessions, John Sowash will share tips on how to manage Google Workspace for education using the Google Admin Console. 
• Attendance at the live sessions is encouraged, but not required. Sessions are recorded and available for on-demand viewing.
• Following each live session, you will receive a session summary with important links, written instructions, and detailed videos.
