Revolution Festival 2022: Marx was right – Friends House

Revolution Festival is a three-day festival of Marxist ideas, hosted by Socialist Appeal, taking place in London between 21-23 October.

With a range of fascinating talks on pressing topics, and an incredible line-up of speakers, this year’s festival will be our biggest in-person event to date.

Hopes of recovery following the pandemic have been dashed. Supply chain disruptions, labour shortages, and the Ukraine war are driving inflation to levels not seen in decades. General strikes and insurrectionary movements are cropping up all over the world, from Ecuador to Sri Lanka.

In Britain, a chasm has formed between the classes. While the ruling class continues to pocket immense profits, austerity is being forced onto the masses to make them pay for the crisis.
