Joanna's Place welcomes the Mark Flanagan Trio! – Fairycroft House Arts and Media Centre

Joanna is delighted to be hosting an evening with the Mark Flanagan Trio. (Rescheduled from 10th September 2022)

Mark is probably best known as the celebrated blues guitarist with Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, an association that began in 1988 and continues to this day. He has recorded and performed with many of the biggest names in the industry - Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Paul Weller, Amy Winehouse, BB King and Al Green, to name just a few, and he's fitting a show in with us between the final dates of a major European tour with Jools in The Netherlands and Ireland! 

As well as appearing on all of Jools' award-winning albums, he played acoustic lead on a track of George Harrison's last album Brainwashed. He will wow you with fine guitar playing and wonderful roots/folk/blues songs written from the heart, accompanied by highly accomplished bassist, Andy Double and drummer George Double - well known to us for his many appearances here with Jazz at the Movies, Art Theman and John Etheridge.
