Our monthly series of shiurim in memory of Dalia Hillman and Chazan Hillman z'l continues with a cutting-edge question: how will advances in robotics and artificial intelligence impact Jewish life? Will we soon have Robot Rabbis? And if we do, will we count them in a minyan?  Harris Bor will consider these questions and explore  how thinking about the future provides insights into religion and humanity that could be relevant to us today.

Dr Harris Bor is a Research Fellow at the London School of Jewish Studies, a commercial barrister, and the author of “Staying Human: A Jewish Theology for the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” He holds a PhD in religion from Cambridge University and is a rabbinic scholar with the Montefiore Endowment.
