Many practitioners will be familiar with a lot of corporation tax from preparing computations for their clients.

This compliance work is often the majority, if not all, of the work carried out for companies, however many practitioners are often uncomfortable giving advice to companies about how they can optimise their tax position.

This 2.5 hour live online course aims to deal with relatively straightforward (and unaggressive) tax planning strategies that can add value for your corporate clients and, in doing so, provide opportunities for your firm to generate additional revenues.

The course can be streamed live to your desktop, laptop or phone or you can watch the recording whenever or wherever you want. In either case you will receive a recording of the course.

Prices: £190 + VAT for the first delegate. This is a per organisation price, so up to 10 of your colleagues from the same organisation can participate at no extra charge, even if they are viewing it from a different location or at a different time. So for example, if there are 10 of you the cost per delegate would be just £19.00 each.

For firms with 4 or less partners the price for a single ticket is £99

Specifically, the course will cover the following areas:

Use of losses – how to maximise the tax savings, including within groups

Chargeable gains – exemptions, reliefs and tax saving opportunities within groups

Expanding overseas – should the client use a corporate structure or set up the operation as a branch?

Saving corporation tax on electric cars for directors’ and/or employees’ private use

Leasing v purchasing of fixed assets for the company – which is best?

Capital allowances – if both are available, should a client claim the annual investment allowance or the new full expense relief introduced in Finance (No.2) Act 2023?
