This online half day conference is very definitely NOT a repeat of the highly successful and very popular previous Clinical Negligence conferences we have held over the last three years. It's a completely new conference with a panel of 7 speakers, including 5 KCs and covering a selection of new and important subjects ranging from: The law on consent to medical treatment following McCullough v Forth Valley Health Board in the Supreme Court to Scope of the Duty of Care,  and a  medical perspective on the proposals for the reform of medical litigation

The conference can be streamed live to your desktop, laptop or phone or you can watch the recording whenever you want. In either case you will receive a recording of the complete conference. If you book just one place, then up to 20 colleagues from the same organisation can participate completely free of charge.

Price: £240. Please note: this is a per organisation price, so up to 20 of your colleagues can participate at no extra cost, even if they are viewing it from a different location. You can participate in the conference live or watch the recorded version whenever you want. In each case you will receive a recording of the complete conference after the event.

For Small firms with 4 or less partners, or Individual Practitioners the price is £99.00 for one person

Why Clinical Negligence Training is Important to The Legal Training Consultancy

In 2009, David Jacobs, of The Legal Training Consultancy contracted Necrotising Fasciitis, which led to multi-organ failure, toxic shock, sepsis and Steven Johnson Syndrome/Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis. He was in intensive care in an induced coma for 14 days and at one stage was given a 5% chance of survival. To save his life his left arm was amputated to the shoulder and he was in hospital for 8 weeks. Clinical negligence was claimed on the part of the hospital and the matter was settled out of court.

Important Notes about Booking

1. If you are booking more than say 14 delegates, it is probably better to make two bookings of half the number of delegates each, starting with the paying delegate and then adding half the free delegates to that booking and then creating a new booking for the rest of the free delegates. The reason for this is that the booking platform time-out kicks in perhaps too quickly and you can lose all the information you inputted. Alternatively you can book your first delegate and send the names, job titles and email addresses of the additional delegates to us at info@legaltrainingconsultancy.co.uk

2. Payment can be made by credit or debit card or alternatively by invoice. The option to pay by invoice is below the pay by card option in the booking form

3. If you have more than 20 delegates then extra delegates are £20 each. Contact us at info@legaltrainingconsultancy.co.uk to arrange this

4. If you don't have the complete list of who will be attending you can book for those that you know will be attending and add the others at a later date

5. If you would like to submit questions in advance to the speakers please send them to info@legaltrainingconsultancy.co.uk
