Seriously Strange 2024 is going to be an entertaining weekend. Top speakers in the field today will come together to discuss topics such as ghosts, vampires, cryptozoology, poltergeists and UFOs.
We have a variety of academic speakers and lay researchers and a blend of accessible and more academic talks.
See the top experts debating anomalous phenomena and have a chance to get involved in the debates. Give your opinion on the burning questions of the day, or just sit back and watch the debate unfold around you.
We wrap up the Saturday session with the Gala Evening.

Ghost Walk
On the Friday evening we have a ghost walk around Winchester, this will be £15.00. You can book on our bookings page.
The ghost walk will start at 8.30pm Ghost Walk of Winchester starts outside City Museum in Market Square and tours around the ancient City walls lasting about 1 - 1.5 hours.
This immersive tour is informative and entertaining involving plenty of interaction with actors and group participation. This tour offers a unique perspective to the city after dark. It will involve a steep climb uphill and some steps.
The University is accessible for those with mobility problems. The University can be a little hilly in areas,
If you are in need of assistance to be independently mobile at the conference, you can hire mobility scooters from Shopmobility. You can only collect on Friday and return on Monday. You can purchase a package which includes Tea or Coffee in the breaks and Lunch for £19.00 per day, saves queing in the restaurant
Gala Evening
We will be having a Gala Evening at the Railway Inn, which is 10 minutes walk (1/2 Mile) from the University. There is a fully stocked bar to purchase drinks. There will be food, a disco and entertainment. Tickets are £30.00 per person
Book early for our Gala evening, as these places are limited and sell out fast.
Accommodation
You can book accommodation for the conference through us, staying at the University from the 30th August until 2nd September 2024,
Accommodation has lifts.

These rooms are very limited, so we recommend booking early. You can book accommodation on the tickets page.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for rooms once booked.
