Our Book Group is small and friendly and attracts people who love reading and want to have a meaty discussion with other like-minded book lovers.
Because spaces are limited, we find that our book groups sell out very, very quickly. If you're interested in coming then we'd recommend booking straight away!
This month we’re discussing “Things We Say In The Dark” by Kirsty Logan. You can buy your copy online here: https://uk.bookshop.org/shop/CabinetRooms. Every purchase made on our bookshop page benefits not only us but also independent book shops across the country.
Library Card Holders will have early access to this particular event. If it sells out we may open up an additional discussion group about the book on another date. Follow us on social media or sign up to our mailing list on our website for the latest news: https://cabinetrooms.com/
Frequently Asked Questions
How much are tickets?
Tickets to our book group cost £7.00 plus the Ticket Tailor booking fee. Our Library Card members can redeem one of their 8 annual tickets for this event at no extra cost.
What's a Library Card?
We sell a limited number of Library Cards every year to our regular book group attendees. This gives them early access to book events as long as discounts on screenings and other events. If you'd like to know more about how to get a Library Card, please have a chat with Gary or Marcus when you next come to Book Group.
What does my ticket include?
As well as an enjoyable discussion with other bookish people, your ticket includes a complimentary drink. This can be a small glass of wine, a single house G&T, a beer or any non-alcoholic beverage.
What if I can't make it?
Because of the nature of the event, tickets are non-refundable. If you can't make it on the night, you can of course pass your ticket on to someone you know. Unfortunately, there is no waitlist for this event so we're unable to help find a new home for your unused ticket.
What if I haven't finished the book?
We know that sometimes life takes over and it's not always possible to finish the book in time. Fear ye not! As long as you don't mind spoilers, you're still very welcome to come along, enjoy a drink and lovely company... and perhaps find out whether you want to continue reading on to the end!
