We all have aspirations, dreams, hopes and fears, and we work hard to attain the things we desire and to avoid the things we don’t. We want happiness and we don’t want problems. We hope to get things “just right” – just how we want them. A home, a good job, family sorted, nice friends, holidays, our health and financial security. Surely when we have everything just how we want it, then we’ll be happy?

However, we are often faced with problems and difficulties, awkward situations and people, money worries, relationship problems, sickness and things just not working out. Things rarely seem to go our way and our life doesn't seem to turn out the way we would like it to.

But if we could understand what the real causes of our problems are and how to create and secure a lasting happiness, we could start to be able to guarantee that things can start working out better. We can begin to make the changes we want, life can become happier, we can have clearer goals and how to actually achieve them, we can have a better influence on ourself and others.

Understanding karma explains why things are as they are and how we can influence them. If we can gain an understanding of karma, (cause and effect), we can get to the root cause of both our highs and lows. Then we can actually do what's needed to create the cause of all our future happiness and avert unhappiness.

On this day course, we will explore the wonderful subject of karma, how it works, and how we can use this wisdom to our advantage and achieve lasting peace and happiness for ourselves and others.
