ISRA is delighted to invite you to our second cadaveric regional anaesthesia course, in University College Dublin.  This is an excellent opportunity to bring your regional anaesthesia to the next level, and build on basic knowledge.  It's an absolute "must" for anyone hoping to sit the EDRA examinations (EDRA approval pending).  This course, over 2 days, includes 2 short introductory anatomy primers, with the rest of the days being dedicated to hands-on ultrasound scanning and needling in small groups.

Learning Objectives include:

  • - Improve understanding of the applied anatomy involved in commonly performed RA blocks
  • - Improve ultrasound visualisation of commonly performed RA blocks
  • - Practice performing commonly performed single-shot RA blocks on cadavers
  • - Practice the insertion of RA continuous infusion catheters in cadavers
