Retrofit: Insulating roofs and floors is the next in a series of Frome Community Retrofit talks, hosted by Community Retrofit Lead Sally Richards.
The free event will explore how to insulate your loft as well as how to add insulation to a loft conversion, room in the roof and flat roofs. It will also examine how can you insulate a solid or suspended floor and what some of the pitfalls might be.
These sessions are a welcoming and friendly environment to share specialist knowledge and a unique opportunity to create a retrofit community, including signposting for local building professionals, so whether you are looking for help or delivering retrofitting services - please do join us to find out more.
Retrofit events are supported by the Centre for Sustainable Energy in Bristol who have decades of experience of providing help to people who are in fuel poverty and advising communities on how to transition towards Net Zero.
This project is part of the Green and Healthy Frome initiative. We are a unique partnership of Frome Town Council, Edventure Frome, and Frome Medical Practice. We are funded by The National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund. We are exploring ways to help local people live lives which are good for their health and good for the planet.
