“A DEER IN A DAY” with Tim Tyne
Venison is the ultimate wild harvest – a forager’s dream!
With the UK’s deer population at its highest level since the last ice age, sympathetic management of deer numbers is now essential to protect fragile ecosystems from overgrazing. What’s more, venison is probably the healthiest and most sustainable meat you can eat!
The increased requirement for deer management for conservation and crop protection purposes means that venison is now readily available to a far wider audience than ever before, and affordable too.
Join us at Henbant for a day of deer, where you’ll gain hands-on experience of processing a deer carcass, from skinning right through to preparation of the various cuts, under the guidance of an expert tutor, and we’ll round off the day with a fire-cooked venison feast while soaking up the early evening ambience of Henbant.
Date: September 21st 2024, all day.
Availability: Limited to 6 places, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Closing date for booking: 11th September 2024
Price: £185 per person.
Light lunch and fire cooked evening feast included.
Bring a cool box and ice packs if you want to take some venison home with you.
