Eve Goodman grew up in North Wales, and has had a deep relationship with singing and sounding for as long as she can remember. Eve writes and performs in both Welsh and English. Having spent much of her childhood feeling things deeply, music became a tool to give voice to her inner landscape, allowing her to express herself in a reflective and honest way. “I’m very grateful to music for the truth it invites from deep inside me. I use it as a way to connect to my emotions, a way to transmute and transcribe them.”
Influenced by the artistry and the expression of intuitive solo voices like Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and Adrienne Lenker, Eve combines honest lyricism with mesmerising musical hooks and patterns. She delivers each song with spellbinding clarity; from the crystalline sonics of her vocals to the clarion beauty of her lyrics. You will hear a pin drop and catch every word.
In the last few years Eve has released a solo EP, dived into a yearlong study of Vocal Improvisation, performed internationally in Dubai and New York, and featured on Bryn Terfel’s new album ‘Sea Songs’ with two duets in both Welsh and Breton.
