Facial anatomy is key for understanding figurative portraiture! Musculoskeletal anatomy is a fabulous tool for artists to use to better their inherent observational skills. Learn how to portray how light falls on the forms of the face, and the vast differences between any individual’s unique facial structure. Students will learn the basics of observational drawing, from enveloping and mapping, during this workshop. Apply logic to your decision making as figurative artists, and your work will shine for it. Students will leave with confidence in drawing the human head.
All students of any skill level are welcome and encouraged to join. No prior anatomy experience or knowledge is required!
