We're hitting the road for a FTL Field Trip! These are 1-day events that will take FTL to special golf courses across the country and within driving distance from select cities. For this Field Trip, we are headed to Old Barnwell, a private golf club in Aiken, South Carolina. This is a limited size event, open to 16 participants, and we are so excited to introduce you to the club's first course, designed by frst-time lead architects Brian Schneider and Blake Conant. Learn more about Old Barnwell's story in this Golf Digest article.
The FTL Field Trip: Old Barnwell will include:
- One round of golf (walking with a push cart or with a caddie)
- A putting lesson prior to our round with Old Barnwell's PGA Professional
- All of your beer, seltzers and beverages included during the round
- Fore the Ladies gift
- Option to add a round on the Old Barnwell kids' course (additional $50)
If you are a member of Old Barnwell and would like to participate, please email info@foretheladies.net for more information on how to register for this event! We'd love to have you.
We are huge fans of Old Barnwell's mission-based approach, supporting their local community and underserved groups in golf. They are "creating programs that empower, invite, and celebrate people and communities historically underrepresented in the game of golf – to create new traditions and a legacy that belong to everyone." Some of the programs they support include the ANNIKA Development Program, HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities), Evans Scholars Foundation and Operation Double Eagle.
We will likely add an optional dinner reservation for those staying in the area on Saturday, May 31. Stay tuned for those details! Watch the video below for a look into Fore the Ladies Golf Events. Please note, all sales are final, and the Fore the Ladies does not offer any money-back guarantees. We will use a waitlist in the event we can fill a spot.
