‘When we pray, a light does shine upon us – every prayer we say is heard and answered. Every single one.’
The Foundation was thrilled to once again welcome five-time New York Times bestselling author and spiritual speaker Caroline Myss, who shared a live online session on reconnecting with the Power of Prayer. This is a replay of the evening event - Caroline's talk plus an interactive session with her - that we held on 11 November 2020.
In these confusing times of distance and crisis it becomes harder to connect with each other and with the Divine. Yet right now presents a powerful opportunity to revisit prayer as a way back into that connection, to find comfort and grace knowing that we are not alone and all is very, very well.
A profound and unwavering connection with the Divine sustained our founders Eileen and Peter Caddy and Dorothy Maclean through their most difficult times, and it was the seed that birthed the Findhorn Foundation of today. Like them, we can be sustained right now by rediscovering our connection to the Divine.
Caroline has been a close friend of the Foundation’s for many decades. In her words, “I enjoyed travelling around the world and meeting spiritually committed people who needed me as much as I needed them, and I had especially come to love Findhorn… Whenever I go there, I seem to receive a special energetic charge that results in some important insight…”
In her talk Caroline explored the mystical nature of prayer and grace, and how these forces of the Divine quietly but profoundly influence our lives. She helped us fully and deeply understand that what is happening right now is part of the Divine. The Divine is organic, in us, in everything. The political, financial and health challenges the world is experiencing now are part of the Divine plan, to bring us into alignment with each other and into grace and harmony with the cosmos. She assisted us in reinforcing our trust that our prayers are answered, even when we are so often filled with doubt.
