Join us on a walking tour of sightseeing and storytelling, guided by a member of the local community and supplemented with archive photography and paintings.
Tea and freshly baked cakes served in the drawing room of a three hundred year old house and a souvenir copy of the map of The Gentle Author's Tour of Spitalfields are included in the ticket price.
The experience takes approximately two hours.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
- Please be punctual or early for your Tour because we are unable to wait for latecomers under any circumstances.
- The guided Tour takes around two hours, ending back at Christ Church where we began and followed by tea and cake.
- Tours will proceed whatever the weather so, if the forecast is grim, wrap up warm and bring your umbrella.
- Tickets are non-refundable and may not be exchanged or transferred.
- The Gentle Author's Tour is limited to 20 guests, therefore we are unable to accommodate any changes or cancellations.
- Complimentary tea and cake is included in the ticket price and a souvenir copy of the map of The Gentle Author's Tour of Spitalfields.
- Our cakes are baked in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other allergens are present.
- The tour is best enjoyed by those over 12 years old.
- Please ensure you stay on the pavement, cross roads carefully, and follow safety instructions from the tour guide at all times.
