This in-person institute will be an intensive, interactive, 3-day institute designed specifically for those who want to sharpen their skills and deepen their practice around creating equitable, just, and inclusive school communities that foster a sense of belonging. Our conference days will run 9am-9pm EST on June 16, June 17, and June 18. Participants are expected at all sessions. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the registration fee. There is a closing reception after the end of sessions on June 18, so participants are encouraged to arrive the evening of June 15 and depart on June 19.
Intended for those with responsibilities for aiding the equity and justice initiatives in their schools, the 3-day program will provide a framework for engaging in best practices, will give members an opportunity to plan their diversity efforts at their school with support from institute faculty throughout the year with a formal mentoring and support program, and will promote networking and resource sharing among members.
This conference is not meant solely for diversity directors. NDPI is for anyone with responsibilities for aiding the building and sustaining of an equitable, inclusive, and just school community. Last year, we had among our group diversity directors, deans, admissions directors, teachers, curriculum coordinators, division heads, assistant heads of school, and heads of school.
All sessions will be held at The Bolger Center in Potomac, MD.
Participants who purchase lodging with registration will have a single hotel room at The Bolger Center for June 15-June 19.
BWI and DCA are the closest airports to The Bolger Center.

In the case of cancellation, registration is refundable at 50% before April 1. After April 1, registration is non-refundable but it is transferable to another individual, or the registration can be deferred to the 2026 institute.
