ACT Boot Camp Registration

$450.00 $0.00

Subtotal 0.00

Location: ONLINE, so the student is expected to log in from home

Who should attend: High school students

Time Zone: Eastern

Event length: 15 hours of ACT instruction and review across 2 days + q&a on both evenings with parents and students

Instructor: Dr. Sampath, PrepAccelerator.com

Content: For each of the four required ACT sections, the boot camp will first review the necessary theory and strategies and then work out and review official ACT questions in a timed setting. We will not cover the ACT Writing section as there is negligible demand for this section score from US universities.

Complexity and pace: This is an intensive and fast-paced webinar. The reviewed ACT questions range from simple to complex.

Course materials: A printed PrepAccelerator handbook and a printed course handout will be shipped by USPS to every registrant after the relevant registration deadline (see below). During the same period, a detailed study plan will be sent to the parent email address that you enter on this registration form. Course materials, once shipped, will not be accepted even if returned unopened.

Location: Online. Students will need a computer with a stable internet connection to attend the event from home.

Login information will be emailed the night before EACH boot camp session.

PRICING (covers instruction and course materials):
[NOTE: Please do *not* contact us for a discount if you miss a registration deadline as we are unable to offer one. Always register well before the deadline to lock in the current price.]

IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY
PrepAccelerator does not guarantee a score improvement. Scores will not improve merely because a student attends the boot camp. To see a score improvement, students are expected to be completely engaged and make thorough notes during the boot camp, practice everything they have learned, thoroughly memorize the cheat sheets, complete the assignments, and attempt practice tests under timed conditions with a parent proctor. Success on the test is entirely about hard work during and after the boot camp. The boot camp gives students and parents the tools and the glide path to the target score, but it is the student's focused practice and relentless work that will lead to a score improvement. Before registering for the boot camp, parents are strongly encouraged to have a conversation with the student about the student's commitment to the work involved and about their own expectations of the student. While students who complete the assignments can benefit from attending the boot camp closest to their target test date, a longer window between the boot camp and the test date is strongly recommended, especially during the busy school year. Ideally, parents and students should plan on a 6-8-week window between the boot camp and the test date during the school year so that students have adequate time to master the content and strategies as well as internalize the techniques taught at the boot camp. Shorter prep windows are also feasible provided the student and family are prepared to intensify their efforts for the upcoming test. Register for the boot camp only if your student is prepared to take the boot camp seriously and commits sincerely to completing the assignments. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

If your student is already at a 32+ ACT (not Pre-ACT) score, contact us early with detailed information on your student's background at PrepAccelerator.com/Contact to determine the best approach from among the following choices: boot camp, individual instruction, and self-paced video programs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should students bring to the event?
Students should bring a notebook, a calculator (preferably the one they will use on test day), and writing instruments. Earphones/headphones/Air Pods are also important to prevent acoustic feedback caused by computer speakers that will compromise the student's ability to listen and participate.

What happens if internet outage or technological issues on PrepAccelerator's side cause a part of this event to be cancelled?
We will make every reasonable effort to restore our internet connection and resume the boot camp immediately. However, if the outage persists, class will be cancelled for that session or the remainder of that day. PrepAccelerator will make a recorded version of the missed portion available to students for a limited time.

My student will have to miss a session. Will you be providing a recording or class notes for the missed session? If not, how can my student make up the session?
We do NOT provide a recording or class notes for your student's missed session. Plan early and register for the boot camp only if your student is able to attend the entire event.

Busy students with scheduling conflicts are advised to consider our self-paced video ACT modules and bundles at PrepAccelerator.com/ACTOnDemand. These contain all the information taught at the boot camp (as well as solutions to all the handbook drills), are accessible anywhere, anytime, and on any device. Our video programs are extremely effective to help motivated students improve their score.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Disruptive behavior during the session will not be tolerated. The instructor reserves the right – in the best interests of motivated attendees – to remove disruptive students from the virtual classroom and block them from reentry.

We have ZERO TOLERANCE for rude, demeaning, hateful, dishonest, inappropriate, and otherwise unacceptable behaviors or communications from any parent or student. Such behavior will result in the entire family being barred immediately from this and all future PrepAccelerator's events and blocked from all PrepAccelerator's communications. We take unacceptable behaviors VERY SERIOUSLY and enforce this policy VERY STRICTLY for all our events and touchpoints.

PrepAccelerator reserves the right to cancel any individual's registration for this and other events.
