The first planned Masterclass will focus on “Adapting treatment for individuals with co-occurring conditions”

The aim of this high quality masterclass is for those clinical professionals already trained in behavioural therapy and who have been working with patients with tics. There will be discussion of specific therapeutic intervention(s), discussion of practical implementation, difficulties and problem solving. Complex and co-occurring conditions: functional tics, tic-like attacks, anxiety, rage, reinforcing tics, ‘adult onset’ etc. Clinicians are invited to bring anonymised cases to discuss.

Possible masterclass topics include:

• Behavioural therapy for younger children with tics
• Support for parents in behavioural therapy for tics in children.
• Developing clinical practice to serve individuals with tics.
• Working with schools who educate children and young people with tics
• Behavioural therapy for adults with tics and supporting their partners.
