Illustrated by photographs taken through the seasons, Jason will discuss how he captures the spirit of a garden in wide and macro detail,understanding the light and how to control it. He will explain his own techniques to achieving beautiful images, and while walking around Yeo Valley's Organic Garden, will reveal the tricks and pieces of kit he couldn't work without.
Later in the day you will have time to practice your photography skills. He will also discuss how he works with editors to capture a garden for a magazine feature, the important images that work to tell the story and how the design elements within the garden are revealed. This course is aimed at anyone with some familiarity using an SLR camera. Please bring along your camera, tripod and batteries.
