Sometimes we need to give ourselves complete permission just to switch off -to be content and just accept our life as it is, no matter what it has thrown at us. On our own it is not always easy simply to be kind and patient with ourselves and others. Our mind would prefer us to be restless and critical rather than at one with our life.
This retreat is designed to give us the mental space and guidance to practise patient acceptance - a very calm, composed and wise state of mind. With this we can avoid many of the mental habits which make inner peace so difficult – blame, guilt, denial or transferring our unhappiness on to others.
Gen-la Kunsang has deep experience of this special practice and is the perfect guide for this day of retreat.
