Managing and conserving an estate of 11,500 acres at Blenheim Palace, the Duke of Marlborough will spend his 60 minutes discussing his ambition and motivation for the estate, as part of the Prudential Series.
Charles James Spencer-Churchill, commonly known as Jamie Blandford, is the 12th Duke of Marlborough - a member of the British peerage. As Duke, he is custodian of Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, larger than both Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been open to the public since 1950. It has been the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough since the 1720s and is home too to the Spencer-Churchill family: Sir Winston Churchill was born there and the Duke is a distant relative of his.
