What will you learn?
During this workshop, you will create your own set of fabulous mini drum lampshade fairy lights using an array of vintage and vintage inspired fabric and trims provided. When you have finished, you will have a beautiful unique string set of 10 fairy lights to take home. No sewing experience required.
All materials are provided (if you have your own fabric that you want to use, please feel free to bring it along).
Who is your tutor?
Sew Vintage is a business run by sisters Sophie and Victoria, specialising in vintage and hand-made home furnishings, upholstery and painted furniture. Selling their wonderful range of items from The Malthouse Collective in Stroud GL6 6NU
The sisters also run weekly upholstery leisure classes along with a range of exciting workshops throughout the year. These include footstool making, drum lampshade making and many more.
What will I need to bring?
Just you and some inspiration
Windows in all rooms will be opened to improve circulation so you may want to bring an extra layer of clothing such as a light jumper or cardigan.
How do I find Kingshill House?
Kingshill House can be found in Kingshill Lane in Dursley, on the road down to the new hospital. The entrance is opposite the Fire Station. The address is: Kingshill House, Kingshill Lane, Dursley, Gloucestershire, GL11 4BZ.
Is there parking?
Kingshill House has a large free car park on site. (Not always guaranteed at busy times)

We will provide morning tea and coffee.

Kingshill House reserves the right to cancel a course, but if this happens, we will give you as much notice as possible and will always look to reschedule the workshop to a future date.
If we have to reschedule a workshop …
During the COVID 19 crisis we have had to postpone and reschedule workshops for a future date.
Where we have had to re-schedule a workshop due to circumstances beyond our control we will transfer your booking to the new date.
If this date is not convenient, we will be happy to give you a credit note which can be used for a future workshop/class.
Refunds will only be made at our discretion subject to each individuals application.
