Findhorn Webinar Series on Our 3 Core Practices
Three inspirational events focusing on how we live and embody the core practices in our daily lives.
You are warmly invited to this short Webinar series focused around the cornerstone practices of the Findhorn Foundation - Inner Listening, Co-creation with the Intelligence of Nature, and Work as Love in Action. We will explore the background to, and current experience of these practices in the Foundation today.
Hosted by Yasko Takahashi and Judy McAllister, these sessions will draw on the personal experiences of members of the Foundation staff group and will be followed by a time for questions and answers. We are also intending to weave some experiential work into these events.
Each of the sessions will focus on one of our core practices. The first event in mid-September will focus on Co-creation with the Intelligence of Nature. Sessions around Inner Listening and Work as Love in Action will follow later in the year. Dates, once confirmed, will be announced on our website.
For those of you who may be new to these three practices please go to https://www.findhorn.org/about-us/ for more information.
Session 2:Inner Listening - Watch Party with Live Q&A
Connecting with and Honouring Our Inner Wisdom/Teacher
Presenters: Findhorn Foundation Co-workers
Hosts: Judy McAllister, Yasko Takahashi
In order to include as much of our global family as possible, we are offering a second opportunity to engage. On Dec 6th we will host a Watch Party where we view the recording of the first event together, to be followed by a live Q&A session. If you would like to book your place at the live event on Sunday 5th December from 10AM (GMT), please click here.
One of the core ideas worked with since the beginning of the Findhorn Foundation Community is the idea that there lies within each and all of us an inner wisdom/teacher. The question is are we willing to look for, and discover the way to 'listen' for it?
'Listening' happens in a multitude of ways - be it a clear inner voice, intuitive knowing, visual impressions, a felt-sense, or any number of other ways! Learning to recognise how we each 'listen', to develop the inner muscles of trust and discernment that allow us to refine our ‘listening’, takes patience, persistence and perseverance. And a readiness to make mistakes that we take the time to learn from.
Each person's journey will be different, each person's listening practice is unique to them. We can support one another along the path through shared practice, and support ourselves through a willingness to observe and assess our own experiences. There are lessons along the way, times of trial and error, and always opportunities for discovery. It can be useful to remember that there is always more! More to discover, to learn, to practice!
In this session, current members of the Foundation co-workers body will share their experiences of Inner Listening, followed by some time for Q&A. Our intention is to weave an experiential element into the event as well.
In this webinar we will address :
Inner listening is not just done by the ‘special’ people, we all can experience it, everybody can do it.
The variety of ways of listening.
The role of discernment as you learn to listen.
The session on 5th December will be recorded. Booking your place for either of the above dates will give you access to the live session on the day your choice and the recording of the first session for 30 days afterwords.
