Up until now, Beyond the Surface has been about connection without the intention to date. But let’s be real—some of you want to find someone special. So, let’s make it happen.

If you’re familiar with Beyond the Surface, you might have heard it described as, “speed dating for friends.” Well, this past Valentine’s Day, Sharlene (founder of the Intimacy Cards and Beyond the Surface) collaborated with Galina (founder of Berlin Offline Dating Club) using the Intimacy Cards to connect singles and it was such a success. 

Now the focus is on those of you who are sick of swiping and sick of small talk. We welcome you to bring a friend/wingman/wingwoman (they can be single, but don’t have to be). We want to assure even numbers and also it’s often nice to have a friend with you.

This is a playful, pressure-free way to meet people you might actually click with—whether that’s over insightful conversation, a playful touch or an intuitive feeling that you both feel through energetic interactions, realizing that you both showed up at the same event for a reason.

Here’s how it works:

🔮You arrive (no later than 7:15pm) and welcome you with a free drink (included in ticket price).

🔮Sharlene will be the host of the event and curate your interactions with the use of her Intimacy Cards. These cards have "Emotional Intimacy" questions (you will answer with 1 partner that changes with every new card). There are also Physical and Energetic Intimacy cards that Sharlene will select to help you connect playfully and intentionally with different people throughout the evening. There are two rounds with a break in the middle. You can then continue to connect after the second round.

ROUND I is an event is for straight couples. 

BUT! Please stay tuned; ROUND II is for queer women, non-binary folks, and anyone who vibes with the FLINTA space, and ROUND III is for gay men. Dates and info coming soon. Join the telegram group to stay in the loop.

The whole point is connection, and we want you to feel fully welcome wherever you vibe most.

Cancellation Policy

I will issue refunds up to 24 hours before the event. This way people on the Waiting list will be able to attend.  If you missed the event, I am happy to have give you a credit to attend a future event as long as it's not sold out.
