The original Dark Eighties started in Vancouver 12 years ago at a dive bar with chequered floors called The Astoria. We've since done a few parties around the world in NYC, London, Montréal and Auckland. But Halifax stands out as an especially fun city with an amazing crowd!

How shall I dress on a night like this?

Although there is no dress code, we strongly encouraged getting dressed up for your big night out! Big hair, wild + creative outfits, hairspray, loads of 80s style make up, fetish, deathrock/batcave style looks, leather, heels, buckles, jewelery, studs, lace, fishnets, eyeliner, black, bin bags, big boots, Bowie style + new romantics, and home made outfits all encouraged!

But dress how you feel best! There are no rules about clothing, hair or make up and everyone has their own unique style 😉
