Die Berlin Biennale für zeitgenössische Kunst findet alle zwei Jahre an wechselnden Orten in Berlin statt. Seit ihrer ersten Ausgabe im Jahr 1998 hat die Berlin Biennale es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, mit experimentellen Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungsprogrammen namhaften Kurator*innen einen Freiraum zu schaffen und mutige künstlerische wie politische Positionen unabhängig von den Interessen des Kunstmarktes vorzustellen. Die Berlin Biennale erkundet internationale künstlerische Entwicklungen der Gegenwart, die Verborgenes und Unbekanntes greifbar machen. Jede Ausgabe bringt Künstler*innen, Theoretiker*innen und Interessierte aus verschiedenen Bereichen der Gesellschaft zusammen und eröffnet so einen Dialog mit den Bewohner*innen der Stadt.

Die 13. Berlin Biennale für zeitgenössische Kunst findet vom 14. Juni bis zum 14. September 2025 statt und wird von Zasha Colah kuratiert. Valentina Viviani ist Assistenzkuratorin.

The Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art takes place every two years at varying locations in Berlin. Since ist first edition in 1998, the Berlin Biennale has been committed to creating a space of freedom with experimental exhibition and event programs for renowned curators, presenting bold artistic and political positions beyond the interests of the art market. The Berlin Biennale explores international artistic developments of the present day that make the unseen and unfamiliar tangible. Each edition brings together artists, theorists, and interested audiences from different areas of society, opening up a dialogue with the inhabitants of the city.

The 13th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art takes place from June 14 to September 14, 2025 and is curated by Zasha Colah. Valentina Viviani is the Assistant Curator.
