1st Bierton Scouts Firework Night

It's that time!! 1st Bierton Scouts are delighted to invite you to join us for our annual fireworks display!

Date: Friday 8th November

Location: Bierton Recreation Ground, Burcott Lane (///always.help.plenty)

Gates open 7:00pm, Bonfire 7:30pm followed by Fireworks

Tickets will not be available to purchase on the gate but are ONLY available online. Tickets will however be available to purchase right up until the event (or at least until we sell out!).

REFRESHMENTS

*** PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST TICKETS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE ONLINE, REFRESHMENTS ETC. WILL BE CASH ONLY ON THE NIGHT! ***

• BBQ with burgers / hotdogs (veg option available)
• Hot and cold soft drinks
• Sweets and novelties

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES:

PARKING - Please note there is no parking available for this event. If you must drive, please can you park away from the sports centre, avoiding Burcott Lane and walk.

FIRST AID - We are extremely grateful to again have St John's Ambulance on location for the provision of First Aid on the night.

FEES - We have changed our ticket provider this year so that you will pay at least 30% less fees when buying tickets! The only fees you will see are there to cover the charges we have to pay, thereby ensuring that the scout group receives the full ticket value into our fundraising account.

RULES FOR ATTENDEES

• No dogs
• No sparklers
• No alcohol
• Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult

Anyone failing to observe these restrictions will be asked to leave the site by security.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

This event is run entirely by volunteers, and we all very much hope you will have a great evening.

1st Bierton Scout Group is always looking for additional helpers who might be interested in volunteering their time for the group. Whether it be simply an hour or two after the fireworks display to help put away the marquee or tidy up the sports hall, perhaps using an existing skill to help with the logistics of running the group (as treasurer, quartermaster, social media manager or the like) or perhaps you would like to join the uniformed leadership in offering up a varied and exciting program for our young people (full training, support and uniform provided!).
