"September is the other January" -- Grechen Rubin

Message from Tamra:

The beginning of the new Jewish year and the new acdemic year is a fantastic opportunity for focusing on personal growth. This new course is designed to help you feel less stressed and more optimistic, resilient and joyful -- something I think we could all do with after the challenges of the last couple of years!

I have recently supplemented my Tiny Habits certification with training as a "mental fitness" coach under the auspices of Shirzad Chamine, author of the New York Times best-selling book "Positive Intelligence", and I'm now ready to take my first cohort of students through this transformative, app-based programme. It has been carefully researched and thousands of people have completed the programme, which has been designed to enable transformative change in the realms of performance, wellness and relationships.

If you have a smartphone and you can spare an hour each weekend to watch a video from Shirzad, plus about 15 minutes a day to do the mental fitness exercises in short bursts, and if you can join me for a weekly 30 minute Zoom on Mondays at 7 pm (UK time), from Monday 15th August to Monday 19th September, I'd love to hear from you. (There is some flexibility regarding these Zoom meetings, so drop me a note if a different slot on Mondays would work better for you, as I may be able to offer an alternative time.)

You can find out more about the Positive Intelligence Programme at this link: https://www.positiveintelligence.com/

Dr Tamra Wright wears many hats, both literally and figuratively. As part of her ongoing interest in creating a 'new mussar', she reads widely in Positive Psychology and related fields. She has trained as a 'mental fitness' PQ Coach as well as a Certified Tiny Habits® Coach. She has a PhD in philosophy and specialises in 20th-century Jewish thought, particularly the work of Emmanuel Levinas. Tamra is Curriculum Development Advisor at Faith in Leadership, Scholar in Residence at the Council of Christians and Jews, Senior Research Fellow at LSJS, and the founder of 2020 Torah. She has held visiting lectureships and research fellowships at St Benet's Hall, Oxford, King's College London and the University of Cambridge, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Yeshiva University.

Please note that this programme is not sponsored by Positive Intelligence, LLC, nor is 2020 Torah working in partnership with Positive Intelligence, LLC to offer it.

Important note: This coaching programme is not intended as a replacement for therapy or other treatments. If you have mental health concerns, please consult a mental health professional to help you decide whether this programme is appropriate for you at this time.
