Events list

For 21 years, the National Book Club Conference is a literary organization that executes one of the premier annual literary events-referred to as Literary Bliss—featuring Black authors and readers from around the country. Hundreds of book lovers receive unprecedented, intimate access to the talent that creates the work they enjoy and appreciate . . .  and discover new authors with compelling books as well.

Our logo captures the essence of the NBCC. The image that resembles a butterfly is an African symbol that represents power, abundance, togetherness and unity. Those elements sum up the spirit of the National Book Club Conference. As for the colors, in the Motherland, gold represents the richness found in the land and black symbolizes us and the power we have inherited from our ancestors.
