Newroz 2026 - Solidarity Event for Rojava

Newroz marks more than the new year - it is a celebration of Kurdish history, culture and resistance. It is a time to honour our language, our music, our traditions and the strength of our community. Above all, it is a reminder of our unity - across borders, across generations, and across all parts of Kurdistan.
This year, we gather in celebration and in solidarity with our people in Rojava. Even in the face of ongoing challenges, the spirit of resistance, struggle and unity persists. Newroz reminds us that when we stand united, our culture and hope for freedom cannot be extinguished.
The evening will feature live music from Koma Sersî and Mervan Şan, alongside a DJ set and dawul û zirne. 
We warmly encourage our attendees to wear cilê Kurdî and fill the space with the colours and beauty of Kurdish culture.
