Join us in the countryside and learn to play ScratchPutter, if you like, while with us on the day. 

(On the second Sunday of the month for 8 months of the year, from March through until October.)

In March 2026, a Wetherspoons Spring Beer Festival runs from Wednesday the 4th until Sunday the 15th of March. (Let us know in advance if you would like to join us at The Manor House in Royston on Sunday the 8th of March.)

To join us on the 8th of March for our '2nd Sunday' gathering, catch a train to Royston or choose to park close to the Heath Café, where we have a CTG Meeting Point at 12 noon. 

From there, we walk up with those who wish to join us at Royston Golf Club on the putting green, while others are welcome to sign-in and play a little golf in the afternoon.

Alternatively, spend time with friends, enjoying the views from one or more of the vantage points on Therfield Heath, much of which is a nature reserve and a site of special scientific interest. 

Let us know on the day, if you wish to join us on the putting green. (Feel free to just give it a go, while with us; there is no need to bring a putter or a golf ball with you, as we have putters and golf balls available to use, free of charge.)

• Spend as little or as much time as you wish with us.
• Maybe visit one of the local pubs or restaurants or head into Cambridge, which can be only 16 to 22 minutes away from Royston by train. 

Please note that everyone pays their own way during the day. Those looking to travel by car or train should make sure that they can get home safely.
