'Investor Summit - Reviewed' - Our Lunchtime Theme on Wednesday the 23rd of September 2026

Wed 23 Sep 2026 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM BST Online, Zoom

Our theme on the 23rd of September is 'Investor Summit - Reviewed'.

(This Lunchtime Forum is on Zoom.)

Organisers of events like this year's 'Investor Summit' at The Brewery on Friday the 18th of September, often ask for feedback on an individual basis, whereas we choose to share our views of the experience, as delegates, so that we can learn from each other.

Whether you were at this year's event or not, you are invited to join us on Zoom at lunchtime this coming Wednesday for the Lunchtime Forum.

Teaser:

My 3 picks from this year's event are:

1. AIM at 30 (actually 31 and a bit) - Clotilde Gros moderator MD, Financial Advisory & Transactions, SEC Newgate

  • Michael Ward Director of ECM, RetailBook

  • Marcus Stuttard Head of AIM & UK Primary Markets, London Stock Exchange

  • Charles Bouverat Director, Corporate Finance, SP Angel

Three decades and £138bn+ raised: what's incoming for the UK's growth market, and how everyday investors can engage in the next chapter of these companies.

2. The Financial Education Lifecycle - Danny Wallace moderator Financial Education Moderator, Private Investor Networks

  • Andy Lang Group Managing Director, Munny

  • Sharan Kaur Varaitch Founder, Build & Conquer Financial Literacy, Build & Conquer Financial Literacy

The panel will discuss how financial education is a constant through life with different knowledge requirements through our different stages.

  • Kris Berry-Trow Director, Future Proposition & Market Strategy, MUFG Corporate Markets

We have a Wednesday Lunchtime Forum every week, accept on the last Wednesday of the month when we have 'Investing for Tomorrow' at 3 pm from January to November each year.

Our Events

We specialise in micro events and we choose suitable locations accordingly.

At lunchtime when on Zoom only, we encourage folks to have a bite to eat with a glass of something while with us.

Please feel free to agree or disagree with anything that we cover, as we welcome all points of view.

At our in-person Lunchtime Forum events, the minimum stay is one hour from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm, which is the duration of the Presentation Hour. When attending in person, our dress code is typically smart casual, with a jacket and tie being normal attire for gentlemen when in the City.

At lunchtime, special guests and those who join us regularly are free to arrive when we start, with first arrivals from 12:20 pm for 12.30 pm, when we start. Guests can stay with us until we finish, at 2:30 pm.

(Invitations to our in-person Wednesday Forums are made available to Boutique Investment Managers and other Financial Services Specialists, who may bring Guest Presenters to our Boardroom Events in the City of London.)
