Michigan’s Gathering for Liberty, Opportunity, and the American Dream

The 250 Summit is Michigan’s premier one-day gathering for people who value liberty, economic freedom, and the promise of the American Dream.

The Summit brings together leaders from business, education, public policy, government, and the nonprofit community for thoughtful conversations about the ideas shaping America’s future. Speakers from Michigan and across the country will explore the Constitution, public policy, free enterprise, personal liberty, and the institutions that sustain a free society.

The stage matters. So does the room.

Attendance is intentionally limited to create space for candid conversation, meaningful introductions, and lasting relationships. Throughout the day, attendees will have opportunities to exchange ideas, identify areas of common interest, and build connections with people working to expand freedom and opportunity.

The 250 Summit will be held on April 15, 2027, in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

What is included in the ticket price?

Your ticket includes admission to the full 250 Summit program, lunch, and the Afterglow reception immediately following the Summit.

Is the 250 Summit an annual event?

Yes. The 250 Summit began as a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and continues as an annual gathering devoted to liberty, opportunity, free enterprise, and the ideas and relationships that help a free society flourish.

Who attends the Summit?

The Summit brings together leaders from business, education, public policy, government, and the nonprofit community. Attendance is intentionally limited to create a setting where people can engage in substantive conversations, build relationships, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

What should attendees wear?

The day is professional but relaxed. Business casual attire is appropriate. Formal wear is unnecessary, but attendees should avoid overly casual clothing.

What time should I arrive?

Registration opens at 8:30am, and the program begins promptly at 9:00am. The formal program concludes at 3:00pm, followed immediately by the Afterglow reception.

What happens after the Summit program concludes?

Attendees are invited to remain for the Afterglow reception. It is an informal opportunity to continue conversations, meet fellow attendees, and close the day in good company.

How is the 250 Summit organized?

The 250 Summit is led by a Steering Committee composed of organizations that share a commitment to liberty, opportunity, free enterprise, and the American system of self-government. The Steering Committee helps shape the program and direction of the Summit. The Council for Economic Growth manages event planning and logistics
