2nd Hand Circus presents Scrap Night. A selection of circus artists showing short new works based upon an item that is thrifted, passed down, recycled, or lost then found. 2nd Hand Circus is a new company creating spaces for creative ingenuity derived from sustainability. Scrap Night is an experiment asking circus artists to play and think outside the box. Our mission is to give artists a place and encouragement to generate new things out of old stuff. 

What can you make from what's been left behind? 8 circus performers are finding out - each creating a new act from a 2nd hand object. Expect juggling, contortion, aerial, and curiosity as everyday scraps are turned into spectacular art. There may even be a fashion show! 2nd Hand Circus believes in sustainability through creativity -- breathing new life into old stuff and proving that nothing's ever truly used up. 

November 8th at Thunderbird Hall, 2856 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134 at E Cambria St. Show at 8pm. Doors open at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $35 - 50 and includes two drink tickets. NOTAFLOF options at the door. There will be a bar and food trucks.

Accessibility note: Thunderbird Hall is up one full flight of stairs with a landing halfway.
