Salon Culinaire at IFEX is Northern Ireland's largest and most prestigious chef competition programme and will incorporate a packed line-up of over 30 classes with hundreds of chefs competing during the three days of the live show.

To enter a competition please select the 'ENTER NOW' button and follow the tab headings to complete your entry.

The application process has been set-up so that you can enter yourself, plus you can enter a colleague or a number of colleagues on their behalf into a variety of competitions.

Once you have completed your entry, you can then pay for all of your entries for which you will be sent an email confirming payment. **

ChefSkills - Live Theatre - Entries CLOSED 

Entries for ChefSkills competitions are now closed. If you have already submitted your entry, we will be in contact with you week commencing 12^th February 2024 to confirm if you have been successful in getting a place in the competitions that you have applied for. Many classes are oversubscribed, but we are endeavoring to accommodate as many competitors as possible, which may involve altering the timetable, if there is a change to the timings that affects you, we will communicate with you accordingly.

We are still accepting entries for the Edible Art competitions, All Ireland Professional Baker & Food Photography. 

Senior & Open Classes

IFEX ChefSkills Live Theatre will host an exciting series of back-to-back live hot classes each day in 6 adjacent state of-the-art workstations. There will be a variety of junior, student, senior and open classes available to enter. We would encourage all chefs, junior & senior, based in education and industry to enter a ChefSkills class.

Any competitor will be deemed a student if studying for a part - time or full - time qualification and studying with a recognised college or training provider. (No age limit) Junior classes are open to all students in part - time or full - time education or junior competitors working in industry.

Edible Art will incorporate a stunning array of static exhibits in a variety of different mediums that will showcase the skills and talents of the industry. The inspirational exhibits will create an area that truly can be described as “an edible art gallery”.
