Additional artists that have had an impact on his vocal style, include Diamond Rio, Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Shenandoah, Bob Seger, Clint Black, Chris Stapleton, Tracy Lawrence, George Strait, and Garth Brooks. A proud member of CMA & TCMA (Texas Country Music Association).
