About the hosts

Alex Mytton

Heralding from the slightly different frequencies of the TV world, dance music and extreme hedonism Alex’s life has now taken a somewhat different path. Instigated in part through the immensely painful yet powerful force that is grief, Alex through seeking remedy from his own struggles with loss, addiction & a lack of purpose has immersed himself into learning ways to heal, reconnect to nature and to reframe what it means to really live the human experience.

And born from a deep desire to share the things he has discovered Alex has dedicated the last 4 years of his life to seeking out ways to create safe spaces, communities and intentional experiences to offer others a chance to heal, reconnect and gather in the same way he has.

Having now held over 100+ practices, 15 retreats, 50 hikes and recently launching a new sober event series ‘Frolik’ Alex continues to be intensely dedicated to learning, sharing and curating ways to help others through a lens of an unbreakable childlike curiosity and a deep compassion for humanity.

His focus now shifts towards foraging a deeper re-integration to the natural world, regeneration and how to live in a supportive community as he sees this as a true, long term remedy to many of humanity’s modern maladies.

He hosts and shares from a place of total openness and brutal honesty and he absolutely loves bringing people together to share and revel in the beauty of the human experience in all its twists, turns, confusions & complexities.

42 Acres

42 Acres is a regenerative estate, nature reserve, and wellbeing retreat centre with the vision to live in harmony with nature, self, and others. We use our deepest intuition, ancient tools, and shared knowledge to establish regenerative spaces, curate transformational experiences, and foster opportunities to learn, heal, and grow.

We are exploring ways to take care of, and live in conversation with our sacred world. You are welcome to explore 173 acres of wild spaces – ancient woodland, rewilded meadows, an 11-acre lake, and our pioneering nature restoration projects.
