Four Forty Theatre are back with a British Summertime Shakespeare Double Bill! Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, both performed by only four actors in forty (ish!) minutes each! 

Experience the hilarity of two of the Bard’s best comedies condensed into short, side-splitting shows. In a mere 40 minutes each, they distill the essence of Shakespeare's masterpieces into uproarious performances. Prepare for an unforgettable night of laughter and with a British Seaside Twist! 2024 will see the company reach more people than ever before and they invite you to join them on their biggest tour to date!

Doors open at 6:30PM

Please bring your own low backed chairs, blankets and picnics. There is also the option to purchase picnics and refreshments at the cafe.

The Picnic for Two will NOT be catering for special requirements other than gluten free. The cost will be £25 (plus 50p booking fee). Already booked? Be sure to assign your name to the Picnic Voucher on you additional order. All produce is as locally sourced as possible! Please email Oxfordshire.museum@oxfordshire.gov.uk to specify your dietary need (GF or veggie) otherwise it will be made as meat option as standard. 

There is level access to the garden and limited disabled parking out the front of the building. 

No dogs except assistance dogs. No smoking.

The performance will continue despite the great British summers attempts to ruin it! Umbrellas are not encouraged as they ruin sight lines but macks and raincoats are just as fetching! In the event of lightning that poses a threat to safety the event may be cancelled.
